				 The Sonic God
apolonia писал(а):winter is: "ZIMA" but ZI is a... diphtong (I don't know the spelling of thie word, sorry

) and You read it like soft "dz"... well, there is no such sound in english language/
summer is: "LATO" with strong short "A". it is not ei as english.

It's "dipthong." You were very close.
Alright, listening to some Polish words, like the obvious Tak and Nie (Yes and No). And it's interesting, having little or no connection to standard European phonetics. Where "Nie" in Gaelic or German would sound like the English word "knee," in Polish, it sounds like "Nyeh," similar to the Russian "Nyet."

You are amazing, I've never been interesting in such problems. And, I cannot find anything interesting in it now either! I admire You for that... I guess

Linguistic person... I am not interested in foreign languages. I'm learning it because it is very useful. But there are people intereted in it, maybe Sonic is one of them...?

Possibly... so you really aren't interested in the languages themselves? How come?

It's simple. I'm interested in biology - this is my passion. And - imagine that actually I haven't been learning english at all. I just was leaving with only USA people for two months so I had to comunicate somehow. So I learnt english

that is why I have such problem with spelling

And thanI started to read books in english and it is still very hard for me. But the poin is - I can comunicate - this is what I wanted. I don't realy care about the proper spelling or transcription... I'm totally NOT interested in it. I'm doing it because I have to. No, not have to, but -need, for example to comunicate with You. I like to be understandable by other people, anywhere...
